As Head of IP at OSRAM, I was responsible for a global IP portfolio of more than 17,000 individual IP rights — patents, trademarks and licences — both strategically and operationally. A particular focus was IP litigation in the United States — especially in the field of semiconductor and LED technology — on both plaintiff and defendant side. I was already involved in US patent litigation at Süd-Chemie as GC.
